Norway is well known for Lofoten, Cape North and Preikestolen, but there are a lot of unknown treasures, yet to be discovered – by YOU!
Helgeland – available from march 2019
This 9 day journey will take you to places where mostly locals have been before. You will experience virgin landscapes, without any hint of mass tourism, on this exclusive adventure of your life.
The feeling of being on an expedition will stay throughout the whole experience, but in the same time, your accommodation will be comfortable and every day will bring new and amazing meals.
Our goal is also to educate you in sustainability with special focus on marine life, and give you an inspiration for doing better choices in your everyday life.
Along the journey, you will meet representatives from the fish farming industry, taking you to a modern fish farming location, you will be joining a beach cleanup operation, taking part in research in micro plastics, and have a food course with high focus on local sustainable ingredients.
Eco experience from the NGO «In The Same Boat»
«Hidden treasures of Norway» and FutureCamp are developed by the non profit NGO In The Same Boat, which does beach cleanup operations along the Norwegian coast.
In 2017 and 2018 we have made a lot of events, seminars and beach cleanups, with overwhelming feedback from our guests.
The Helgeland Experience is our first commercial expedition concept, where we have combined our eco profile and activities, with an exclusive adventure in nature, culture and food.
